Home>Optics: In order to get a close look at a bird without startling it birders use optical devices which are highly useful and come in many different kinds and are an indespensible tool. Optical devices run a bit on the more expensive side especially if your looking for a good set, but we have some pretty good bargains on optics. Our selection is divided into two sections Monoculars- A monoclar is like half of a binocular. Kind of like a telescope. They are used for getting a more focused look at bird from a distance and can be adjusted for focus depending on your distance from the target. Binoculars- Binoculars are like two monoculars put together. A series of lenses focus and enlarge the far away image to give you a better look at your feathered friends.
